Evette Lee McGinty (Her back-story)
I'm Evette Lee McGinty. I'm thirteen. I live in Ireland with my mum, dad, friend Megumi and her mum and dad. I was born March 7th 1997. I have light-dark brown hair, blue eyes, White skin, and a tired worn out expression.
When I was little I used to cry over stupid stuff like: spilt milk, wet floors, yelling, fighting, cussing, and just loud noises; always I got hit for crying. I got hit for eating when I wasn't supposed to. I got hit for back talking and arguing. My mum used to hit me when she was stressed or when things went wrong for her.
I can never remember a day when I was never hit or slapped or punched or spanked or kicked or yelled at. I never have been happy. I was forced by my mum to hide my scars and bruises.  She would say "Hide 'em scars or I'll slap you harder then you've ever been slapped." I would do so.
My parents were smart. They only hit me when no one was looking, or no one was home. I try to go with Megumi when she leaves to go somewhere; I need to get away from time to time. I have been told by Megumi just to run away; I try that and mum finds me and just hits me harder every time I run.
By the time I reached third grade things got better. I made many friends. All would help me out by asking me for sleepovers or coming over for the night, So I wouldn't get hurt. They treated me kindly and I did the same. I was happy for a while.
Then mum turned on me and started home schooling me. So, when I got an answer wrong she'd hit me. When I didn't get an A+ I got hit; once when I failed math she broke my arm by hitting it too hard. I was doomed.
But when I was ten, I accidently grabbed a knife and threw it at my mum; it got in her skull and she was knocked out. She was Hospitalized for it. My father broke my arm over it, so I couldn't do it again.
